Bike Routes

These are some of the Best and my favorite rides, in and around Orange County

We Recommend avoiding Pacific Coast Hwy between Newport Beach and Dana Point. The roads are always busy regardless of the time of day. There is no bike lane and drivers trend to be less than friendly about sharing the road. The portion between the Santa Ana River Trail and Bayside Dr to get to the San Diego Creek Trail is safe to ride. The road is much wider and less busy at this point. If you want to got through Newport Beach we recommend turning right onto Bayside Dr, right on Fernleaf Ave, Left on Ocean Blvd, Left on Poppy Ave, and then right back onto PCH. This avoids the busiest and most dangerous part of PCH through Newport Beach.
